Mt. Olivet Prayer Mountain is located in the mountainous region Ruirii in Nyeri County.It was launched in 2018. The prayer mountain has been in effect for seven years now and counting.
It has played an important role in strengthening the body of Christ in this region. Many churches, prayer groups, and individuals of all walks have found refuge in the canopy of prayer through this mountain.
The purpose of Mt. Olivet Prayer Centre (OPC), is to promote prayers and propagate the course of God’s Kingdom within Nyeri county, Kenya Nation and the world at large. The scriptures in Luke 18:1, emphasizes that men ought to pray always and faint not. Similar words are echoed, in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 that admonishes us to pray without ceasing.
Luke 18:1 (NIV) 18 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
1 Thessalonians 5:17-19 (NIV) 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Do not quench the Spirit.
It is a calm, serene environment where one can come having paused from his/her daily busy schedules, to ask from God, seek God and knock at the doors of Heaven. As the bible says, in Matthew 7:7 (NKJV)

Mt Olivet is now open along Nyeri Nyahururu road at Ruiri town.
